MaryEllen now gives retreats and seminars on Conversations with Angels—Angels Among Us and Their Teachings. MaryEllen is trained in Energy Healing and Clairvoyance and incorporates these insights into her retreats, including teaching Meditation and Grounding to Foster Intuitive Living and Self Healing. Other retreat topics include Spiritual Peace, Creativity, Celtic Spirituality and even "The Art of Holy Dying," the topic of her book, Living Well & Dying Well. An audio book published in Summer 2008 presents the classic from Esther de Wall, The Celtic Way of Prayer, in a beautiful oral interpretation performed by MaryEllen. The centuries-old poetic tradition comes alive with MaryEllen's sensuous and evocative reading in this 10-CD rendition. Spirituality and the arts is also a favorite theme. Topics can be customized for the group. She has spoken for groups and conferences in the U.S. and Canada.

MaryEllen O'Brien is the author of "Living Well & Dying Well" (Sheed & Ward) and "Living in Ordinary Time: The Letters of Agatha Rossetti Hessley," ACTA Publications 2005.

She is a writer, veteran radio personality, retreat leader and is trained in energy healing and clairvoyance. She has 20 years of experience on the air in rock radio in various cities, both in the U.S. and in Ireland.

MaryEllen brings storytelling, poetry and insight to retreats, talks, and other gatherings as well as to her writings. S

M.A. in theology/CTU, Chicago; B.A. in Religious Studies, St. Michael's College, Vermont. Extensive post-graduate studies in theology and spirituality, Loyola University Chicago. MaryEllen has taught at Loyola University Chicago and Lewis University in Illinois.
